Heather Buys

Heather is a senior client service associate at Mariner. She works on a team of associates who provide administrative and client service support to independent advisors and firms, allowing advisors to focus on delivering personalized wealth solutions to clients.

Prior to joining Mariner in 2023, Heather spent 13 years working in wealth management and investment banking, most recently at Edelman Financial Engines. She started her career at BB&T Investments, then moved on to directing life and disability insurance for Northwestern Mutual before settling in wealth management.

Away from work, Heather is active in her gym community and loves to explore new restaurants in her city. She hits all major sporting events, cheering on the University of Michigan Wolverines, and enjoys spending time with her friends, family and corgi, Woodson.
